  • - Hi FalgorOne. I have a question that, when all instrumental parts played combined, I mean recording diffrent tracks, so, what should we do to record a song ?

  • I think you should SOLO each track and record them separately.

  • Honestly I even went and tried it on my local dealer store, and I get the same impression here, all the strings sounds the same and I hardly notice any difference... Is it just me?

  • Well, it might be also that there are very many variations, which are quite subtle. Some of the strings are for solo and some are designed for only certain ranges, it seems. There's a lot to choose from. Some seem quite similar, yeah.

  • hi falgoreone i think this keybord its more realistic than motif xs but have you already tested the motif xs sound, and can you comfirmed this ?

im a beatmaker i do hip hop rap and r'nb sound, but i love orchestral sound too

  • Well, I have played the motif XS, but I didn't really like it. The Kurzweil sound just hit me right from the start (I didn't even know about Kurzweil before). The mofif XS might have more "hip hoppy" sounds, but I mean... if you want great sounds, get the PC3. There are some hip hop and r'n'b kits in the PC3 too + good basses.

  • Very Nice Playing! Seriously! Sounded improvised yet each part fit well with each Other! No need to Comment on the Instrument except that there is Nothing Better! Still!

  • @smelliot95 I actually bought the PC3x and I had a close look at the strings and there are differences and very noticeable. many small details that make a big difference on the expression :)

  • @akissgr1 Yeah i haven't got this keyboard but I get the impression that in the strings category on it, the different sounds are more for practicality's sake than for changing the timbre too dramtically, like you could go from having adagio in the high end and pizz in the lower parts to having a staccato in the upper range and a timp roll in the left hand. The actual tone quality of the parts stays roughly the same, just different articulation/playing styles

  • thanx
