This video is from Extreme Noise Terror: From One Extreme To Another DVD.

The first ever DVD to feature the leaders of the Grindcore movement, Extreme Noise Terror.

From getting a record deal after their first gig to their extraordinary appearance with the KLF at the 1992 Brit Awards show, Extreme Noise Terror have always been outspoken, controversial and LOUD.

The band's gigs are often a raucous celebration of their campaigning principles (the band are staunchly against all animal experimentation) and a breathtaking display of all out, uncompromising noise.

The gig featured here, filmed live at the Fulham Greyhound in 1989, is no exception. An all out attack of vigorous guitar, bass and drums, along with the bellowing dual vocals of Dean and Spit, provide an ear-splitting experience not to be missed.

The crowd fully play their part with waves of stage-diving and crowd-surfing making this a truly memorable live performance

  • jesus. okay, napalm death "invented" grindcore in its "pure form", if there is/was anything like that. but they did not appear from out of nowhere. yes, it definitely HAS something to do with Punk, Hardcore Punk, Thrash ... Let's trace it back: no napalm death without bands like ENT (Mick Harris played in both bands, btw) Carcass or Siege. what about septic death? And where it all started: DISCHARGE, most of all. Deny that fact, and I laugh out loud, kid.

  • @MrDeGroot excuse me but was dean jones from ENT who "invented"the grindcore..the veganism first then anyone.yes they were very influenced by Rattus from Finland,Kuro from Japan and of course Discharge, was a hectic times, then Napalm Death came along sharing musicians for a long time...NO WONDER MASTERS OF MASTERS JOHN PEEL (RIP) have special litle chapter about ENT in his biography....

  • iuccc :/

  • @Vortexdreamer But moshing has nothing to do with being a macho or show your strength in public. It has something to do with releasing your anger on society. Punk and especially crust is pure fucking energy in form of music and this energy should be transferred right into the moshpit, otherwise the music will not seem as devastating as it fucking should be.

  • The Peel Sessions version is great. Trouble is my CD copy doesn't work any more.
