What an exceptional, creative and enthralling interpretation of Ravel's timeless "Bolero", presented within the medium of Classical Guitar, and the ever mesmerizing, expressive language, fire and spirit of Spanish Flamenco. Bravo!
@Rexicano I think its sad you'll never see the beauty in interpretation. Interpretation isn't something you have to like, but at least appreciate that there might be another way of seeing this masterpiece. In any case, Ravel was enthralled with spanish music- i'd like to cite the multitude of spanish inspired pieces he wrote 'L'Heure Espagnole', 'rapsodie espagnole' 'etude en forme de Habanera' 'BOLERO'. read up on ravel before you start deciding asserting that his music was beaten to death.
Sorry. I press thumbs down, for wrong .. So I tried to correct my mistake by pressing thumbs up. VERY GOOD interpretation !! Best regards from Brazil .. 8 )
This Bolero of Ravel is originally composed for, and inspired of traditional spanish/arabic/gypsy guitar !!
Later Ravel orchestrated this piece into a symphony-arrangement.
The whole idea was to bring some fresh air,- something different and dynamic, into the establissed concerthalls at that time...
And he sure did!.
Never the less, this piece has its roots in the music of the the traditional spanish guitar.
Basta... :)

@winnerdoozy
Seeing how you think French music should be ruined...do you often try to write to the mentally infirm?
Sad little man.

When you play FORTE all the time...it's like having someone YELL at you.
This is about as French as a mexican burrito.
Any sense of the Ravel piece is beaten to death and the rhythm is tossed aside.
Terrible.
