You really inspired me. I been researching islam for about 5 months now and im 16 years old. i want to convert to islam now because i feel in my heart that islam is truely for me. im just really afraid to tell my parents.

If you feel as though you might put yourself in any kind of harms way by telling your parents, don't tell them until you're living away from home.

If you're sure that your safe, let them know by showing them how happy Islam makes you feel. :)

I love the fact that you yourself "discovered" the religion and did the research.. Usually when you hear about people converting it's because they're getting hitched or something like that :bGood for you that you've found something you feel strongly about! :)

I know people are giving you a hard time for converting and for stopping wearing the hijab, Allah is most merciful and the best of judges as it says in the Quran. so keep it up :)

and id recommend you watch lectures of a convert shaykh Hamza Yusuf.

I am a buddihst and i have very accepting parents and i have been researching the islam religoin for 1 year and j really feel like it is for me because when i converted to buddihst it seemed to help me in myself but the further along the less it helped me but i like the idea of being islam but i woud like the opinoin of some one who has been through the conversion, also people at my school my judge me and i dont want to be judged. i would love to have your opinoin it would help me alot. thanx
