Jim Stanton flies the maiden flight of his CMP Zero. The flight proves to be eventful, as the ignition battery vibrates loose and the throttle servo becomes unresponsive. Jim got her down in one piece and she was flying again shortly thereafter.

  • Is this the 80 inch wingspan or 71 inch ?

  • @bicyclemonkey I used a set of the ESM landing gear for a Lavokin LA-7. It works great. You have to modify and reenforce the gears area with hardwood you can get at Lowes or Home Depot. You can get the gear from Troy Built or VQ models. I also know the ESM gear for the F8 Bear Cat will work as will. The ESM landing gear only coat $139.00 plus shipping. Good Luck

  • Looks great, what retracts did you use? I heard with this plane you have to reinforce the retract area b/c it's weak from the factory. What did you do to yours?

  • @albychainsaw80 Sorry to reply so late but the engine is a Brillelli 46GT. It is the perfect size engine for this plane. I now have a dozen flight on it and this is one great flying plane.

  • Hello..beautiful!! Waht is the engine??
