Two friends meet for the last time. One has a very special agenda.
This short silent super 8mm film is a preview and screen test of a feature film that I am currently working on. It is based on a Mafia drama story set in San Francisco. I am currently looking for acting talent in the SF bay area. Let me know if anyone is interested. xkwu@sbcglobal.net

  • 1:32 Wiping away tears before the kill---awesome...

  • Thank you for your comment. I thought it made the character more complex if he didn't want to kill his friend but had too...

  • I'm in absolute love with the last shot. Totally rad angle!

  • Great! Thanks! Check out my other videos that are much less dramatic than this one! :)

  • nice angles! i like, i like! where was this filmed?

  • Thanks! It was filmed in San Mateo California. I found a long staircase that seems to stretch forever. It was infront of an apartment and people were watching us film wondering what we were doing. It a hassle to clean up the blood though. When I saw that staircase, I thought... Won't it be a great place for a death scene? >:) Thanks for watching. Don't forget to rank and comment on my other films!

  • At :49, notice the metaphor of the character "walking into the light" in life, which he will soon be doing in death in mere seconds, without losing a step. It is a journey the character is taking, which transcends both life and death...

  • It really added depth to the character. Reminds me of a strange but sad dream where I was in front of my happy partner, telling myself I was going to have to let him go. I knew I was going to break his heart (your character having to kill his friend) and change his life forever. I felt bad about what I was going to do (wiping away the tears) but I had no choice but to do it. Funny--I have no partner in reality and would have worked it out with him. He seemed like a nice guy (friend who's shot).

  • Beautiful. Thanks for posting. :)

  • Hey nice film!
