G-String - Half Life 2 mod (Part 1)

I stumbled upon a mod that should be MOTY, though it's a bit late already...well, Merry Christmas?

Let's see how mind-blowing this mod is until I pass out. I had to stop and record at every loading screen, so it's a bit annoying. Luckily, it's a minor issue.

Anyway, as Myo Hyori, we set off to escape this post apocalyptic city.

Video quality is a bit bad, since this mod uses lots of grain effects on the camera. And I had to compress it to fit my patient needs.

- At 5:20, it wasn't by accident. Perhaps if that window was blocked by wooden boards, and each one breaks upon a thrown object, then the player would easily find the keycard.

- I'm not sure of improvements around 35:20. I didn't notice the red smoke right away.

looks pretty damned atmospheric, might just have to acquire this. looks very confusing but i guess thats more because watching from a video doesnt quite match the experience :P

make more videos ^^ i loooove your mod playthroughs. dear esther has got to be my favourite, followed closely by korsakovia.

@nevasoft2k7 Thanks, but I've never done Dear Esther before. I'm waiting for the remake of it, thought it's not going to use the Source engine. But, I might still record it.

and the way you play the game is so special, you kind of "act" as if you are the person in the game, i like it, keep it up, Love your videos mate!

This mod is fucking awesome! The girl mapper who created this all by her self is simply amazing. I made some few maps before so I really know how long and hard it is to create on this grand scale so no wonder it took her five years and she definitely had fun creating it as some of her levels are just hard to tackle and some just look awe inspiring.

This mod just looks amazing. It's like an urban exploration of an apocalyptic future. It feels like it draws heavily from so many books, films, games and yet somehow remains unfamiliar. I love it. Many thanks for the upload!
