If you want to incapacitate someone, you need to use a Taser which is a lot more expensive, but worth it. Stun guns just hurt a lot and makes a very scary sound (which is actually a great deterrent). He should also give her a high end pepper spray. Pepper spray is a lot more effective if the stun gun doesn't make an attacker back off.
