  • Yes, this was the game I had expected. SoT fans, you are nothing more than anal warts in the PoP saga. WW was a brutal unapologetic masterpiece and besides, the people who played the first PoP when it came out arent teenagers anymore. So why make a bloodless teen rated game with a cheesy Prince who sounds like Harry Potter!? The Prince is a tormented, Shakespearean-misfortunate hero, faced with impossible odds and yet survives. Fuck you Ubisoft. Fuck you Ben Mattes. Fuck you SoT ass-suckers.

  • @Dkr83

You spoke my very soul out. I wanted to go more with Firdausian tragedy, but Shakespear, whistle, you got taste, man.

Fuck Mattes, but he isn't the only one. I have just seen the last gameplay video of TFS. Good grief, the combat looks aweful, just like the whole gameplay.

This is what happens when great games tuns into nothing more than canon fodder for casual twists and pretentious fans. I guess WW was the first stone set into that direction, but really, it was a good sequel, the best.

  • Is that really robin atkin downes? They should have kept his voiceacting at least... that noew price sounded so gay i couldn't even listen to him+that speed kill looks awesome.. thanks for upload

  • I think that's him. They probably used the voice sounds from Warrior Within for the demo. If you listened to the E3 trailer, Yuri was already voicing the Prince.

  • i was on the ubi site and i saw your posts , but what i don't get is whether this is going to be a remake of the T2T game or just another part in the series

so if you could please clarify that up

  • Kindred Blades was the original game-concept of PoP3. Or like some may call ''Beta-version''.

It was highly praised, but fanatical SoT-fans broke the independence of the PoP-franchise.

Ubisoft had just made canonfodder for those freaks by turning the KB to what we know as T2T, a cheap SoT copy. Many fans who followed the progress were disappointed since so much was promised. I am one of the more extreme parts who got pissed and decided to let it revive alittle by releasing all content about KB

  • @Dkr83 im tottally totally agree with u, but u have to acpet for god sake that even ww is much better than sot if sot havent exist than any other pop have exist either

  • yeah i founded that stupid... i mean the prince in WW was a man chased by his own death... so hes brutal, a fearless warrior and is a more dark character than in the first game... he was just perfect! so i wondered just why they suddenly changed the prince in the third game... i like the way the prince was in WW and than it just became immature and all that... its a 7-year difference between SoT and WW and i didnt made any sense...

  • WW prince is 10x better then the SOT and T2T prince put together!

kindred blades in all honesty wasnt going to be THAT diffrent to T2T as some levels are very similaur with same models and level design

however the prince looked better sounded better and acted better in Kindred trailers then in the offical release.

  • Sands of time fans suck, they never heard of character development.

  • @Dkr83 @Dkr83 Very true i liked sot but when WW came out it was deffintly my favorite i played it over 7 times the complete game. i hated the t2t cuz it was censored here in europe, and they messed the whole game up and after all i had expected Kindred Blades that would be a good ending for the trilogy and brings true justice. pop3 could 've been so much better damn ubisoft. and the voice of robin atkins downs is awesome i loved it. yuri lowenthal belongs to sot not to a grown man like in ww

  • I wonder how the Prince survives all the swordfight, prancing around shirtless like it's some Arab gay disco..

.. and although he spent 8 years fleeing an unstoppable beast, bruised by memories nobody has any idea about (SoT), kills, then saves and falls in love with the immortal deity behind his torment, returns to a homeland in flames, loses her and his sanity..

.. but forgets it all for Farah, who meanwhile turned from Paris Hilton B.C. to warrior princess with a redneck accent.

    REALLY?

  • @Tristan129 By the way, TFS is a lame low-budget disgrace that shows how far the franchise has fallen. The prince is as stiff and inanimate as the puppets of Team America. Mumbling "funny" one-liners to himself for comic relief is embarrassingly demented. And the fighting.. ow god..

Another PoP fact, marketing would conceal poor development. TTT and PoP4 were lame but featured decent concept art/ promo material. TFS can't even bother to do that, they expect publicity fallout from the movie :-(

  • @Tristan129 Sequelwise, WW was the Godfather 2 of the series ;-)

I used to be pretty vocal about TTT's sucktitude, but it was words falling on deaf ears. A marred videogame is as disappointing as a bad movie, book, or music album, as they're all works of art. With this complacent anticlimactic release, Ubi invalidated years of hard work on character development, storytelling and gameplay, let alone the broken promise. After TTT was over, I gawked at how my beloved escapism had turned to sand.
