Filmed between 1894 and 1895 by Thomas Edison Company. This is the first film to have sound recorded simultaneously.

  • This is remarkable quality for a 19th Century film, technically well in advance of it's time. Many things were achieved much earlier than realised. (For example, colour television was first demonstrated in the 1920's, although it was low definition.)

  • This is AWESOME! (And a bit weird)

    Thanks for the video!

  • WTF? History...yes... explainable... dunno?

  • The first known (and only surviving) film with live-recorded sound made to test the Kinetophone was the 17-second Dickson Experimental Sound Film (1894-1895).

  • :---)) wowswers, very twisted
