  • Outstanding video!!!

    Just a quick question:

Did you have to grind or shim your mount?

If grind...how long and how much grinding did it take you?

    Thanks,

    2LT Robert Ramirez

  • @Army333 Thanks and yes, I dont recall how much I needed to grind but I did it al at the range and it took 2-3 hours. Thanks again, Ernest.

  • "got it! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA"

  • @Roflskull Ernest hasn't answered so I'll jump in. We're both Mosin fans, but he has forgotten more about them than I'll ever know..

Scope is a Russian PU, fixed 3.5x power. Originals cost big bucks, but pretty darn good replicas can be had for around $200-300, same dimensions and equivalent performance. New ones have the advantage of always-centered reticle. On originals the reticle moved up, down, left, right as you adjust windage and elevation. Try Kalinka Optics and eBay

  • really nice video... i know most ppl that are happy if there mosin can hit a target at 100 yards lol

  • @gandj19 the barrel on a 91/30 is 28 inches.

  • great video, im torn between a PU or a PE scope... which one should i get?

  • psh chuck norris can do that upside down while swimming and banging some hot chick

  • Just how long is that rifle? The barrel is practically halfway there already.

  • How much of an elevation adjustment in MOA would you have to make for 20ft of drop on a rifle zero'd for 100y?
