@Roflskull Ernest hasn't answered so I'll jump in. We're both Mosin fans, but he has forgotten more about them than I'll ever know..
Scope is a Russian PU, fixed 3.5x power. Originals cost big bucks, but pretty darn good replicas can be had for around $200-300, same dimensions and equivalent performance. New ones have the advantage of always-centered reticle. On originals the reticle moved up, down,left, right as you adjust windage and elevation. Try Kalinka Optics and eBay

@Army333 Thanks and yes, I dont recall how much I needed to grind but I did it al at the range and it took 2-3 hours. Thanks again, Ernest.
