English transcript below --- Interview with Abdullah Özbay, Head of the Child Rights Section of the Child Services General Directorate of the Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Policy - XII. Children's Forum on ICT and Children and Youth of Turkey - 21/22 November, 2011

Q: What's the goal of the Forum?
A: We are here to talk about safe use of the Internet and how children can use it more effectively.

Q: Could you talk to us about this Forum's importance in relation to the 20 November Child Rights Day?
A: The date of the conference is very special as it coincides with the 20th of November. We are together here with 162 girls and boys from 81 provinces of Turkey. We hope to
share the Forum outcomes with the public.

Q: Both adults and children use ICTs, do you think there is space for enough interaction?
A: Unfortunatley there are some challenges with the access. Compared to Europe, Turkey has less access to the Internet. We have to increase access to safe Internet in our country, including even the most remote places.
