On New Years Day 2007, the Tournament of Roses Parade featured the Star Wars Spectacular. This event showcased over 200 regular joe Star Wars fans who had been personally invited by Lucasfilm to march in the parade as a reward for their charity work and community experience. The 501st Legion of Imperial Stormtroopers, Rebel Legion, and Jedi Assembly each contributed their own homegrown fans from 36 states and 22 countries around the world. I was part of the parade and marched all 5+ miles, my other name Speakerforboskone has more video. This project here is the sum total of 5 channels of broadcast coverage including backstage video and photos of the experience taken by the participants themselves, my own personal tribute the fans involved and to the experience as a whole. Hope you like it, and enjoy. Ill put a downloadable version on my website (or maybe just upload it to Google).
I belatedly realized that I dont mention Grambling State Marching Band in the credits, but they do get a LOT of screentime. ;) And all the Fanforce members who helped build the floats, thanks to you too. And if you were one of the marchers and I left out your name, just post it here.
Long Live Hero Squad.
AND THANK YOU GEORGE LUCAS!!!
DOWNLOADABLE LINK for More Credits is on the server of the Nordic Garrison.
um change the title cause some of those people were from Rebel Legion so...we would much apprecieate it.

I was one of those guys in the Rebel Legion, the Xwing pilot. I suppose the name should be equal opportunity. Whereas the 501st had more members there, we had more character exposure. ;)

Han Solo wasnt allowed his gun, and they wouldnt even let some of the jedi have lightsabers. Crowd security in a post 9/11 world you know.
