  • I was 31 years old. Don't be afraid RandomNameOne...every person with LGMD has different courses that their LGMD takes on. Your sister may have a milder form than mine which may mean she'll walk better/longer than I do.

  • omgee im not the only one who walks like that..............

  • Do you have LGMD?

  • Thank you. I looked at your page and I think if my memory serves me correct that you have SMA? I am interested in hearing how MD has changed you. Thanks for the compliment.

  • I'm dating a girl with muscular dystrophy right now. When I date girls, I tend to be insensitive, but I don't do it to hurt them even if that is the end result. After watching your video, you've normalized muscular dystrophy for me. Rather, you helped me to understand. Now I can focus on getting to know my girl for who she is on the inside. She's beautiful inside and out.

  • my calculus teacher has muscular dystrophy and some of the kids make fun of him..i can't stand that.

  • How old were you when this video was recorded?

  • My sister is 19, she has MD and i think it is LGMD...she can walk as of now but we are scared for future.

  • Thanks for sharing. Both my brothers have Beckers MD. I remember them walking like this before they were in power chairs full time.

  • Damn, nature. YOU SCARY!!

  • can you still walk? I am 14 years old and I have MD to. i can't walk i stopped walking about 8 or 10 months ago. I have a friend with LGMD type D2 and she is 11 years old and she can't walk

  • Thanks for posting these videos. I have a 2 year old son who appears to have a form of muscular dystrophy (we've ruled out congenital myopathies - testing currently underway for different types of limb-girdle). He is weak and uses many of the compensation methods you do here. He's never been able to walk, only pull himself up to a stand. You may have already said, but when was the onset for you? From what I understand it's rare to have such such an early onset - hoping someone can help.

  • Homeopathy works well for the cases of Muscular Dystrophy. It helps by controlling the disease process and improves muscular strength and mobility, in turn. At Life Force we have worked on this disease and have documented significant results for this incapacitating condition.

  • thank you
