Vampire: Bloodlines, Bishop Vick

Bishop Vick is the leader of the plaguebearers and the Brotherhood of the Ninth Circle, where they have more truth than they can handle! Huh huh huh huh huh...yeahhh. *cough cough cough*

This self-professed shepherd of the damned is one of the briefer yet more interesting encounters in the game, so it almost feels like a sin to send him to an end of his own making...but his Celerity and his shotgun won't make it easy for you. To bring about the end of his long and bloody harvest, corner-trap him every chance you get and punish his abstinence from hand-to-hand by heaping on the damage as soon as he stops to reload. Nightwisp Ravens can stall Vick's Celerity-fueled flight long enough for a Nosferatu or a Gangrel to close the gap into melee, where these two Clans tend to do the most damage. Unfortunately, with Vick and all the zombies watching, Nosferatu usually don't get any chances to use Obfuscate and sneak attacks to show Bishop Vick that he hasn't quite become God.

(Other methods may work for vampires of other Clans or other builds...counter-Celerity, ranged attacks and so on.)

In any case, you might want to bring a few blood packs or blue blood packs and hotkey them when needed (default key: 9 or 0). Try to put a zombie or two between you and Bishop Vick when he has you at range. And unless your Stamina is 5 (or you have a decent amount of Fortitude going), don't forget your Blood Buff; the Stamina boost is just what you need to soak the shotgun blasts as you send Bishop Vick on his journey below into the Ninth Circle.

this guy was a total nightmare, had to quick save about 30 times just in this battle. terrifying quick hed use celerity to pump you face with a shotgun shell. infact id say the plague bearer quest is proably the hardest stage og the game (if you attempt it early on and not wait until your stats are hyped)

@SamoJaSamFaca Play as a Malkavian if you can puzzle through their weird dialogue and blaze through with Dementation as well as learning a lot of lore if you keep your eyes open. After learning what they did to the Salubri, I doubt I'll ever, ever want to play a Tremere again.

I had the longest drawn-out gunfight with this fucker and his minions. Should have just took a knife to him like you did...
