DIY Bottlecap Necklaces snap these caps onto a washer and fabric strip

We used a 1 inch circle punch by Martha Stewart to cut out scrapbook paper. Insert paper circles into bottlecaps cover with UTEE, epoxy sticker or Glossy Accents. Glue a magnet onto the back. Snap onto your favorite necklace or bracelet with a washer.

A potential issue as to the safety of metal washers with kids & wearing them. Some can be allergic to the nickel in the washer finish, so just a simple coat with any spray polyurethane from home depot or walmart will seal them...or you could use clear nail polish. If you were to do a group, you could hang them from a small dowel or string & spray a bunch at once. My daughter has this problem so I know.

how did u glue the paper too the cap?

@sbspgirl21 I use glossy accents (glue in scrapbook section) or just elmers glue on the back of the paper and put an epoxy sticker on top

There is also ones that have mirrors on one Side and a design on the other. I have two of those.
