can someone please explain why cancelling sgu "halts" the production of stargate:extinction indefinitely? i really dont understand why business and producing tv shows has to be so complicated.

Figures that they cancelled it just as it was getting really good.Didn't like it in the beginning,but the additions (especially Claudia Black) made a huge difference.They should have added her long before they did.She has a presence as an actress that enhances anything she is in.
