Damn the saw creators ripped the whole concept from this film I wonder if they will get sued. Its identical jigsaw did his revenge in the name of his wife just like phibes..

Man, Phibes is 100% better than Saw. I mean what was the "meaning" of Saw? Live a better live and be thankfull for what you have? Than become a priest Jigsaw. Dr. Phibes. HE KNOWS WHAT TO DO.

OMG, I was saying to a friend a minute ago, "Dr. Phibes is like Saw with a quirkier sense of humor"...but Saw probably was directly inspired by the surgery scene!
