This Memorial is the perfect design for Dr.King's role in the Civil Rights Movement.Their are two pieces of rock with a walk way in the middle by which you come to a third. That third piece is the one that Dr.Martin Luther King jr's image is carved from.He walked through the mountain and paved a way for others that wanted a better life. All you had to do was follow his lead. That walk way is still paved till this day.

Taking against them is a very frustrating thing! And what I am facing isn't nearly as intense as what my father and our Grand Fathers faced during the Civil Rights Movement and prior.I am very great full and in debt to Dr.King and all of the men and woman that excepted the punches, emotional pain and abuse to make the living experience a lot easier for their children and Grand Children.I took a drive through down town D.C this past Sun.And past by the Dr.King Memorial cont...

I agree. His accomplishments are far to important to Man kind to utter such a petty speculation & falsity.Racism was a Spiritual condition that Dr.King and his army fought head on.And the strategy had to be this way because of the intensity of the violations.I am facing some Civil Rights issues on my job right now that is causing me to take a much deeper look into the movement. To have your Rights over looked as a man and to have the violators smile and joke with no action cont..

  • @lilgurlfresh perhaps when one rapes yur mudshark ass, you'll wake up......open up YOUR mind before its too late. I wouldnt want to walk in their shoes, they lead all the crime statistics even when subjected to decades of the education system and welfare and affirmative action. whats their excuse now?.....then we got some young brainwashed dummy like yourself speaking up for them. go make a burger or mop the kitchen floor missy lol.

  • @paulpolt You sound so f***ing ignorant. "He had sex with hookers"? even if he did, half of your white politicians still do to this day.

I wish for just one day you could have walked in their shoes and felt the discrimination African Americans endured and I promise you you would be preaching and entirely different tune. Open up your mind!!

  • king was an admitted marxist who had sex with white hookers and also had communist jews who were in his inner circle and communist jews who provided the leadership for the so called civil rights movement.

look up how the kennedy brothers warned martin coon about his communist ties.

these comunist/liberal documentaries are all lies designed to dupe hard working americans into giving up their liberties to open the doors for a communist revolution.

  • if we boycott shopping from any non - black shops, food, cloths, house funiture etc.....we will be able to make them sit down and listen. we let them do it to us.
