I think this has nothing to do with horse psychology and understanding. Just drags the horse through her thresholds again & again. Just dragging the horse around, he doesn't give the horse any time to think, or to agree, he drags her in and out, always putting tension on the halter, witch has a special noseband, that you can strech endlessly, tighting it on the horse's nose, so you can imagine how much pressure he takes on the horse's nose as he pulls it.

@sonnytoochi It would be dangerous to use a trailer with partitions to start off with, this is safer for the initial training, dividers can be added later. And how did they get her to the clinic? There are ways of bribing or forcing a horse into a trailer. Just because you can get a horse into a trailer once or even multiple times, doesn't mean he/she will go in willingly the next time. Monty Roberts is an amazing trainer.

a Dually (pronounced dooley) is like a regular headcollar, except the cheek pieces come slightly lower and have two soft lengths of rope that run from one cheek, over the nose to the other cheek. At each end there is a metal loop for you to attach a lunge line. It works on the principal that the horse is more cofortable if he stays close by you. If he does not he inflicts pressure on his own nose. Effectively, the dually aids the horse in teaching himself to respect you as a leader.

Sonnytoochi??? u are an idiot! The horses are either ridden or walked to the venue or have spent several hours being forced to load. Monty shows how easy it can be when the horse trusts you. There is no divider as he is trying to get the horse to understand its not scary. Once the horse is used to this then the partition can be put in. have u any brain cells??
