@zheus1987 We shave the mane for the same reason we braid the tail... we don't want the horses hair to get caught in the reins or equipment.

@BarberJack08 Yes! They wear helmets (or hats) when they play. This player is just "stick and balling" and doesn't have to wear a helmet.
