The Antares 13.80 takes on the appearance of a traditional cruiser, almost reminiscent of a semi-displacement passage maker such as a Grand Banks or an HMG. Underway, the boat isn't so tame - the modern planning hull exhibits a good turn of speed and perfect handling. Below deck the large forward stateroom boasts a large island bed, extensive high gloss cherry wood trim, flat-screen TV and plenty of storage. The other two cabins have a double in one and two singles in the other, both with the same high standard of finish. Both bathrooms enjoy natural light and the showers have a clever revolving Perspex door that keeps all the spray from the showers contained. Topside the layout is interesting to say the least.
