Why am I smiling? I havn't gotten to the negative news yet, and it is nice to greet a viewer with a positive vibe before delivering grievances and bringing along the culmination of emotion.

none of the REAL anchors here smiled, maybe just a bit during the weather and sports but that was it.

Oh, the funny thing is... I was debating on whether I should or shouldn't. My gut told me not to, because that is what I would have done naturally... but after thinking about it and following other anchors that inspire me, I made the decision to smile. But, I didn't at all after that.
