  • You made my day! :) this version was totally new for me! Thanx so much! Listening the 68-69 performances just make me want to go back in time. I wanna feel what those lucky ones felt who were blessed to see them! However, after a concert like this.... I don't know how they could go back to their "normal" life!

  • I hear you. Zeppelin was just blowing it up that first year. Anyone who saw them was just tripped out. You have to consider what was going on in early '69. They were so different from what was out there. Did Page meet Hendrix while Jimi was playing in the UK? Just trying to figure what Page's influence was at this point. Cream had done their thing I think. Your right, what an amazing time. Grand Funk put their first two out in 69 as well.

  • Thanks for uploading this. I have a tape of this that I recorded from a friend of mine about 15 years ago, but my tape runs out during this song. Drives me nuts every time.

  • @TheSanityInspector burned my thumb that way. why do you think zippos were so popular. zippos, that's the way to flame at any concert. 'cept now no building allow smoking, let alone a lighter, so people use their mobile phones, it is just not the same.

  • GoodGoldSweetJewelKewel!!!!

  • this was the first bootleg i ever heard of zeppelin, purchased in a back street shop in Dublin, long since gone circa '91..i remember stickin this into my walkman at the time and just walking around the place mesmerised. Was definitlety this boot as i remember vivdly the vocal harmonies which were rare in zep e.g., baaa ba ba ba ba, na na na naaa!!..(just before the finish sequence in above vid)..another tune on it plant started it with 'here we go round the mulberry bush'..

  • In their first four years of existence Zeppelin routinely turned in performances that were so astounding that those audience members (some of whom eventually formed major bands ie Aerosmith, Van Halen, Kiss, & many more) still recall it with absolute reverence and awe. No rock band has ever approached Led Zeppelin in their prime.

  • @TheChronoWraith Just flick your Bic!

  • (gasp)

...I don't know what to say

  • Here you can find the ultimate proof why they are the best band that ever lived, no other band could top this.Beatles, Stones you name it, no one would play like this. Zoso here at the top of his power !! at 2:10 furious and heavy...pure genius.

  • i cant believe i've never heard this. its awesome!!

  • @MG94707
