  • What the US needs is an educated informed public. Then you may have a true democracy. Too bad most education comes from the boob tube from sporting events, prime time TV. No body wants to educate themselves. Money talks bullshit walks is so true! ITs a doggy dog world, and no one knows how to live by the golden rule. We are like parasites raping the earth. IF we go to gold standard we would just blast the bejesus out of the earth, in an attempt to have enough gold to funnel the money system.

  • >Then you may have a true democracy.

Wow, that was fast. I thought you said you were leaving? And now you're back spouting your inane chatter.

Democracy? Democracy is tyranny of the majority. I choose anarchy / stateless society over that. By the grace of the ongoing economic collapse I might just get what I want!

Go away or something. You're just noise.

  • Hey, believe it or not i respect anarchist views to a degree. Fiscally i am libertarian, when it comes to shared resources i believe in the democratic process. I believe it little government involvement except in the follwing areas: Health care, education for the needy defense and infrustructure. I dont believe in taxes or interest on loans. so i am not sure if you can classify my political beliefs. I am flexible to a degree, recognizing that i am not alone in the world. I do live simply.

  • Politicians are proffesional liars. Follow the money not what they say if you want to know who/what they are beholden to. It takes 200million to run for president. The money is used for marketing. Once in office they need to insure more money for the next election so unless you can fork over large sums don't expect them to have your interest at heart. I can't believe so many people got fooled by obama. The whole system is a joke. Local politics are more honest but not much.

  • Sadly I find that most politicians are at their best when they have retired.

Most of them seem quite frank about what was going on and are of course happy to talk because they have become irrelevant.........

but when in office were just you describe..
