I came across the recording of Donavan singing "She" a day or so ago what a beautiful song I hadn't heard for years a great fist line;
Enter She with a scent of violetta
Yesterday gown, granny hand-me-down chiffon
Fragile She with her beaded bag of treasures
Pale and pretty by the palm tree on the lawn.....
A fine wordsmith no doubt.

It's too sad that you are so repressed and disturbed as to censor a Pulitzer photo and a picture most all of us have seen, respect, & hold special in our hearts and minds! It put a damper on concentrating on the song and the images. Oh, for the freedom of years past..................R.I.P.. Mimi & Richard!

I have this song on an old vinyl LP.
I only wish that Joan, Judy & Mimi had recorded more songs together. Can you imagine how wonderful if they had recorded an entire album together as a trio in those years? Well....at least there is this one beautiful song.
