oh lol sorry was half a sleep, the metal is very shiny meaning if painting straight away the paint will not take to the surface, doing this will ensure that it will stick and become a better job

I'm doing the same, but I'm going for matt black. Think it will look better with the plastic parts

Both the primer and gloss should be for metal material. Try to spend money on it as it is going to be against heat inside the case with your components. Re-paint after 3 hour intervals. Maybe 2 coats should do the trick (We used 2 coats). Wait until the next morning for it to be totally dry and ready to your bits. IT SCRACTHES EASILY, be carefull,

INSTRUCTIONS:
Remove all plastics and rubber, until your left with your basic shell chassis (metal).
Sand everything down very rough and spend at least 1.2 hours on it. Use Sandpaper 80 to 1200 (GRIT). Mask up areas underneath where rubber is and power supply anti vibration gel thing. Paint with GREY PRIMER, (Colour upto you but its best with light colour because you know what your doing when applying the actual glossy colour. Re-Paint after 15 minute intervals (upto 3 Paints).
