I am the river of pain. Enduring joy is freedom from me. Wow.

Krishnamurti does not make unverifiable statements like Eckhart Tolle and so many of today's so called spiritual leaders. He is a scientist. Wonderful.

THANKS.

We are part of the stream... we share the same type of desires, sufferings, anxiety, thoughts, feelings,.. Why does it has to be so esoteric - we share the same phenotype.. go and read Dawkins - of course we do. All this discussion so far in part 3 is not throwing any new light. Each one of us are the representatives of the humanity - of course we do - we share the same genetic code.

What He wants to say Is, If one man steps out of the stream It can Change. The stream Is something like purgatory or the society we live in today stress, misery, hope, partial happiness etc . Basically he is saying the same thing as peter Joseph in a sense. you will not know our true meaning until we take off the blinders and get rid of the restraints on society today. This guy is not genius he is actually a reflection of the way we all should be If we were strong enough to think our way OUT!.

No doubt that K has understood it all (I suppose), but he clearly says in part two, that that stream has no beginning! At the same time he says that stream is all misery - thought. Misery is thought. Truth certainly is not misery. How can he say that thought (the stream) has no beginning, when thought obviously is the limited? I have seen K do this on more than one occasion - he fools people, play with them, contradict himself, etc. I have read many pieces of him, which all contradict themselves

i totally get what he means.. its easy to lose but when it hits you, you will alsmost cry its so subtle and beautiful of a realization. if we could maintain it somehow...

I really do appreciate the discussion on the matters dicussed by Krishnamurti in here, it's very uplifting.
I actually just ordered a few books of his off the web. Anyone want to discuss these things on a messenger of some sort perhaps. It's interesting to try to wrap my mind around such concepts, and attempting to break our collective conditioning in today's society.
