  • It doesn't makes sense... Why do you need a waterproof fan?

  • I don't think it's the main feature. It shows the motor is sealed, and uneffected by dust.

    The fan and drive "pin" are suspended by magnets when in motion, there is no oil or bearing involved from my knowledge.

    You can actually rip the whole blade assembly off for cleaning. I really want these in non-UV colours.

  • uMMM, if it was sealed completely it would either need a ferrofluid seal or a Very powerful motor to overcome the resistance of a rubber seal.

    Plus, dust doesnt usually get into the motor on regular fans, and regular fans work under water as well.
