-1 chicken breast, thinly sliced
-1 egg
-1/2 cup flour
-2 cups canola oil
-pinch of salt
-pinch of pepper
-pinch of paprika

Scramble an egg in a small bowl & put aside. Mix in flour & seasonings and put on a plate & also put aside. Next, preheat the frying pan on high heat and add in oil. Now, take the chicken slices and coat with the flour mixture, then the chicken into the scrambled egg, & again coat with the flour mixture. Repeat until all of your chicken slices are coated with egg/flour mixture.

At this point your frying pan should be hot enough, so place in your coated chicken slices. After about a minute, turn the slices over and continue frying. The chicken is done when it is a crisp golden brown. Remove the chicken out of the oil & place on a brown paper bag to remove excess oil.

  • @misonkop ,

    Yes, please do!

  • I've never heard of draining the excess oil with a paper bag, we always use paper towels and it really gets the oil off. The chicken looks great!!

  • VirgoDoll75,

Thanks for the nice comment and subscribing. I never used brown paper bags before this either but, the chicken certainly tastes better. You should try it.

  • ok

  • Stay away from canola oil. "By nature, these rapeseed oils (canola), which have long been used to produce oils for industrial purposes, are... toxic to humans and other animals" Also most canola like soy and corn is genetically modified. So DON'T eat it... read every food label.. Many varieties of nuts or mixed nuts are cooked in canola eliminating all their health benefits. The government and industry know canola is toxic that's why it's cheap and plentiful... sick people are BIG business

  • IM MAKING IT TONIGHT WOOHOOO

  • I always try to keep chicken on hand. I'll give this a try too:-)
