  • how would the sound compare to the stock mid-pipe or a catted mid-pipe? This sounds perfect. I've heard some with the stock midpipe but it was a loudmouth II.

  • @ShaneRaweewon well this has an off road (o/r) mid pipe so it'd sound completely different to a stock or catted mid pipe. it's kinda common sense, stock has 4 cats, catted has 2, and o/r has 0. the less cats, the louder it is. an h-pipe has more of a deep throaty tone while the x-pipe has more of a rasp

  • @speeddemon0712 Thanks, yeah I already know about loudness compared to an O/R and stock - but I was mainly wondering about how well that deep throaty growl comes out with the stock midpipe. Sorry I should've clarified that at the beginning!

  • @ShaneRaweewon i guess it depends on what catback or just mufflers you're running. i'd say you're better off getting a catted h or o/r h-pipe vs the stock if you want more of a growl! you can find TONS of mustang parts online. i bet if you looked, you can find a catted h-pipe for around $100. first place i'd look is craigslist

  • are the cat-back ones good? this is just a tip on it right? no muffler right? you think OE ones are good?

  • @XcOoKiExMoNsTa0X that makes absolutely no sense... a catback is the exhaust system from the catalytic converters all the way to the exhaust tips. this is the mac catback which means it has mac mufflers, and yea they're good
