Bridges of Understanding/Global Nomads Indiana-Jordan High School Videoconference October 2008

Bridges of Understanding (www.bridgesofunderstanding.org) is a non-profit, non-political organization devoted to supporting projects and efforts that foster better understanding between the American people and people of the Arab world. Partnering with the Global Nomads Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to heightening children's understanding and appreciation for the world and its people, a videoconference was organized between high school students at the Park Tudor School in Indianapolis, IN and the Jubilee School in Amman, Jordan. Students were able to share values, discuss their favorite foods and activities, and bridge the cultural divide to learn more about each other's cultures.
