Knit Baby Booties - With Straight Single Point Needles Pt 2

This video shows the construction of a baby bootie pattern, knitted with straight knitting needles. You do not need to know how to "knit in the round" in order to make this pattern! It's an excellent project for beginner knitters.

Row 19-20: I did everything correct but the lacing came apart and the entire bootie has huge holes. Any advice or ideas on what I did wrong? Please and thank you.

Excellent video =) I loved the music. I think it'd be easier though to leave a long cast on or bind off tail for seaming to eliminate excessive ends to weave in. Those booties are adorable.

why is mine like 2 times bigger. I know im doing it right and the string looks the same. Definatly not going to fit a baby. and I got confused on the eyelet part.

This was very helpful, but I wish you would go ahead and show how to make the crochet chain for the ties, too. Thanks for posting this. Booties have been very hard for me. This did help.
