Zoids - HMM Command Wolf WIP.wmv

Yay, most of the build is done on my Command Wolf!
I've only got a few extra add-on bits to complete, and 2 more weapon packs... But the first weapon pack doesn't bode to well for the others ;(
Though I might have been mistaken about the extra part, I noticed there's some japanese text surrounding it. That might be the explanation as to what the piece does, or an apologie from Kotobukiya, hehe
I've had a few ideas already as to how to paint this guy, but I'll keep them under wraps untill the next WIP update XD
All the music is from the game I'm getting the colour scheme from ;)

The added Okami soundtrack was a nice touch. Lol.

Interesting video. I'm somewhat new into getting zoids even though I've seen the show as a kid. So now I'm looking around the Internet about them. xD Recently bought the Command Wolf AC windup model; it looks like a friendly cute puppy compared to the feral look of the HMM wolf!

@Wolfiefie Thank you. I must say I'm kinda new to the new Zoids too :p Grew up on them in the 80s when there wasn't a cool cartoon to go with them, hehe (and dino's hadn't gone nearly extinct).

Kinda jealous of the wind-up wolf, I love those old Tomys XD

@ZGzoids yo kotobukiya is releasing 1/72 Liger Zero Schneider and 1/72 Schneider Unit for Liger Zero which ones are you gonna get?

@TheIkawatay I'm looking at a restocked Liger Zero at the moment (love the all white & black look it has), so I'd probably pick that one first and maybe add the extra weapon set(s) later... As I'll be painting them anyways I care little for it being molded in a specific character's colour scheme XD... Trouble is I already spent my hobby budget for the month though, grrr

@AriesTheUmpteenth Hey, I just recently found out about the HMM series and ive been watching a lot of videos about them on youtube because im thinking of getting a couple, and i was wondering because I keep seeing people talking about paining these. Do they come pre-painted or do you have to paint them yourself and if not then is the paining just for extra detail? Please explain this to me if you can thanks

@IDEATHMETALI All the parts come premolded in the 'right' colour. Don't know if you're familiar with Gundam models, but it's very similar to those.

Painting is completely optional, but it will enhance the look of the kit...

If you want a better idea of how they look unpainted check out ZGzoids channel, all the HMM models he features are straight out of the box. (or my Liger Zero, it's not painted at all)

i'm still thinking about getting this command wolf but I'm so tied up right now and I really want to get the Geno Raven version. So I'm just blocked by so many obstacles.

@ZGzoids Even storage space is rather limited ;) A good portion of the gunpla kits I own are in ziplock bags, stored in gunpla boxes, stored inside HLJ boxes. Hehe. I should just find myself a bigger place to live.

I'd never store a new kit away, not untill I've played with it, and stared at it for quite some time XD

Thanks for the idea BTW, my job is in logistics, so I'll see if can scrounge some bubblewrap tomorrow.

@AriesTheUmpteenth well i don't know if you're going to try it but what I did was save bubble wrap from mail packages that I get and use them to wrap up models and store them in a box and place another model in place of the other. This way u have room for more kits to display and u can pack\unpack a model whenever u get tired of looking at it. Right now, I take pics of any new kit and then wrap em and keep it safe for more room.

BTW, I got Ligerzero HMM today - so excited!

@ZGzoids Yup, it's the lack of space that's bothering me ;) Got about 100 gunpla models on display, and just one Liger/Saber would eat about 10 of those... D-styles coming this summer is a real blessing, hehe.
