I live in Alabama and am very ashamed of this. I am going to develop the First Bay Minette Church of Satan to offer an alternative to the "required" Christian church there. This is bogus. There is a second option community service. The media like this show doesn't like to mention. What's wrong with going to church? How many countless number of lives has it made better. People act like church is a negative thing these days. It's time for America to rise up and realize what kind of ignorance the media is putting out. Just like this story,they only tell half of it. I have never been a fan of attempts by Christian extremists to turn America into a theocracy but this I don't find as bad. If your a criminal, you can either go to Church and sit through several hours of "God is awesome" or you can go to jail. And if your a Jew or a Muslim, well if its an non-violent offense, its not like their gonna throw you in Alcatraz so it evens out.
