Netbooks failed because they compromised on the wrong side. iPad got it right. Apple Really asked the question what people Need and what people Don't Need. This form factor is not good for serious productive desktop applications anyways. Even if the iPad did have a computer OS like the netbooks does those functions will not be used 90% of the time anyways n it still would not replace ur laptop. 10" is simply not enough for Photoshopping. One would be stupid to use a netbook as his only computer.

hmm not really a fair test to be honest with you. Your watching an HD flash video.
How about 720p and 1080p h264 videos? Using something like media player classic, that way it can take advantanage of the hardware rendering.
