HTC EVO Touch sensor problem

I just got a EVO a few days ago, and after doing the OTA update, my phone freaks out from time to time, randomly opening programs and pressing keys. It's a pain when i'm trying to type an email or a text message and it takes me 5 minutes, 6 saved drafts, 2 navigation searches, and 2 openings of the desk clock to get a sentence typed.

I'm taking my phone to sprint to have it exchanged this weekend, but I'm just wondering i anyone else has a possessed EVO..

New EVO has no problems. I've had it for about several months now and it's flawless. If you're EVO is having this issue return it asap. If you have device protection it's covered, if you're past the warranty, HTC might take it back as a RMA, but if the phone shows signs of physical damage, they'll likely charge you for a new phone.

Omg man me too, just now as I tried to type I fkn hate it, it's like I gotta shut the screen and try again alll the time. I go beserke sometimes and throw it. Gona exchange it...

The only problem i have with my evo is the video cam it does some wierd shit when i record bright light

Sprint has a 30 day guarantee. I'd suggest exchanging it for another phone instead of making a video about it.

Quite odd, if this isn't a fake =] how about rooting it and flashing a fresh rom after a FULL WIPE?
