You are absolutely right about the method of the time period. Unfortunately, the problem with black people is that everytime WE do important, wonderful, successful, things in a movie or in life, we make negative comments like that's not the things that WE are capable of doing. My sister and her daughter are the kind that do things such as, mommy and me day, salon weekends, vacations with just the two of them. It is being done...we gotta stop criticizing our kind and maybe other people would.
