Gun metal green refers to the color of the Warthog. The warthog being the Halo vehicle that appears in RvB being the show that nico (of Trocadero) composes music for, and the fact that the song is called 'Steady Ride" not "Color of her eyes" is another indicator. Also at one point the lyric is "Cruisin' along to a mexican song" refers to a scene that happened in the show, where two of the characters were riding the warthog, and it was blasting a "mexican" song they couldn't shut off.
