Actually u didn't figure it out, Monitor connections on Laptops and netbooks are OUT only, they are not IN.
So no he couldn't do what you proposed!
The asus EEE is too weak to run COD 4 even with the Nvidia Ion, so this is a fake.

Je l'ai déjà dit plusieurs fois dans les commentaires : "Streammygame"
"l'exploit" était de faire marcher cod4 sur un eeepc 701 pas sur les nouveaux netbook qui n'ont plus de netbook que le nom et qui ont des doubles coeurs et des carte graphique SM 3.0 !
On peut jouer à Cod 4 de n'importe avec son netbbok tout au max (sur le serveur distant) , pourvut que l'on est une connexion correct (wfi, voire 3g,...)
Alors bon ma vidéo est un Fake, What else ?

I say it's an half fake i use Streammygame :
My Powerfull desktop run the game and it stream the game over the lan or the web i could play crysis on my eeepc in my garden very well or outside with hspda modem but it's quite laggy, i hope streammygame made a client for Andoid, it will be fun top play crysis on my phone !
