In this variation, we are redirecting our offenses to the tiger gate, also known as the outside of the opponents rear hand. The indicator is that the opponent parry's and punches simultaneously rather than sequentially, providing no room or time to convert your lead jab to a deflecting defense (Gua Shou).

  • looks like boxing + wingchun ....absolutley no mantis kungfu of any description . Your opponent won't just stand there ! you'll get knocked out with his right hand ...If opponent moved forward and to left with single step ,solid bridge you'd be on your back .Especially with your footwork , balance , lack of power .. MMA maybe .Praying mantis kungfu , please , it's disgraceful to call it that .

  • Your fighting stance looks very similar to the basic jeet kune do stance. Is it the same or are you doing something different?
