friends north of the border. You know I get Celebrex from Venezuela for about 30 cents a

pill. Costs 10 times that here. Funny thing, the

packaging is the same, same company, etc.

You may not have claimed that personally but your

sources make that claim on a daily basis. If you listen to Hannity or Beck, they constantly harp about death panels, rationed health care, etc. in

Canada. I have lived in several other countries

and I can tell you from first hand experience, our

health care delivery system is pretty inferior. Yes we do have some of the best doctors in the world but then Mexico has some of the

finest water in the world too. Just don't drink

it out of the tap!

4. I am the first to admit that it is not a perfect system, but how many Americans have been turned down entirely for major surgeries because they simply cannot afford them or their insurance company found a loophole in which they could turn them down?

Generally when having a discussion it is best to seek out what the individual is saying, if neither of us read eachothers posts then we reduce ourselves to infantile discourse. And I am not interested in such discussion.

healthcare system because one women decided to go to US for surgery? Have you maybe read my post I made 2 days ago about my own family? No healthcare system is perfect, but atleast everyone here is covered and will not be turned down, 50 million Americans aren't covered that is more than Canada's entire population! Also do you know who was voted to be the greatest Canadian ever, by Canadians? Tommy Douglas and guess what he did, he was the founder of our health care system.

Wrong i can speak from personal experience, I have had three major procedures I never waited never paid out of my pocket. Canada spends 10% GNP on health care US spends 19.5%. Canada's system is not perfect but it is far better than you have. I should have known you were a right wingnut.
