  • Well..... you either have your tonge in your cheek (hopefully),Or your head up your ass(probably).

Tom Waits has pioneered contemporary music, turned the page so to speak, and should be listed with the likes of Charlie Parker, Bob Dylan, T. Monk, Mingus,Hendrix to name a few and as an equale his work is Genius. Listen to something beyond highschool pop, rap and headbanger crap.

    Respectfully

    Dave

  • So many times copied by by the likes of The Eagles, Steward, Bruce Springsteen but never equaled. Theres only one Tom Waits! Pure Genius.

  • Superb as always!

  • I never thought the melody from 'Waltzing Matilda' could ever sound so beautiful, but here's the proof...

  • this is that guy that screwed up my favorite rod stewart song.

  • matchless!!! absolutely matchless!!!!

  • There's plenty of other versions if you want it slower. This is another masterpeace from the man.

  • I think it is a little too sped up here... sadly

  • And the end, wicked

  • The start of this is waltzing matilda an Australian folk song.

  • This song still gives me goosebumps. Beautiful.

  • Agree completely.
