This is my first project for Motion Graphics Art 426 at UW-Milwaukee. The objective was to create an opening movie sequence for a novel, of our choosing, that hasn't been made into a movie yet. I chose "The Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis. The entire animation was made in Adobe After Effects CS4.

  • love it! Stylisation is really good aswell! Did u use After Effects? Also how did u get the joints of the gears to fit into the gaps of the other gears as they spin?

  • What type of writing did you use in this sequence?

  • This is fantastic! I would LOVE to see such a movie! I just bought the book. & read of two others who just read/bought C.S. Lewis books today on FB
