Skateboarding used to be so raw, now its jaded and bastardized by lil emotional kids in girl pants and pink bracelets and shit, makes me sick, atleast theres still some rawness to it, its to bad those kids will never feel what that it is.

Yeah, the good ol dayz. There are probably a 1,000 skate stoppers there now.

I have such fond memories of this place and I've never even been there! I'll never forget watching the Questionable video for the first time in my local shop and being completely mesmerized by Carroll's part. Not just for his amazing skating and songs but also for "that place with the bricks" as we used to call it. I couldn't believe a place like that existed that WASN'T built with skating in mind. I'm still sad to this day that it's gone and I never got to skate there! Thanks for posting this!

This is Jacob Rosenburg's account right? what was your camera setup when you were filming these EMB videos? by the way, those new carroll selects look awesome. i have to get a pair of those so i can see that dvd that comes with them (and they're the raddest looking shoes i've seen in a while) but i digress. please keep putting this classic EMB footage on for all to enjoy. i know i could watch for hours. this was a beautiful time in skateboarding and i wish i could have been there for it. thanks.

yes it my account. I started shooting EMB with a canon 8mm camera, but the footage above was shot with a Canon A1 Digital, I had a fish-eye adaptor (that's the vignette) and that's about it. I am pretty stoked on the shoes too, they look excellent. there will be more footage.
