Élie Dupuis in the studio recording BANG BANG for the soundtrack of MAMAN EST CHEZ LE COIFFEUR (Mommy is at the Hairdresser's) in 2008.
It was written by Sonny (Salavatore) Bono in 1965 for his wife Cher. In the movie, Élie plays the song on the piano after hearing the record by Claire Lepage at the kissing marathon in the barn. I bought the soundtrack soundtrack (Analekta label) at Archambaud's the same day I saw the movie, and Élie is the best thing about it..

le refrain est magnifique ! c'est ce qui m'a accrocher dans le film, cette chanson me restait dans la tête ! Élie à une voix ... whoa. Cette chanson me donne les frisons.

@fredxtini1 "être une tapette" ? tu débarques de quel siècle, jacouille ? c'est une jolie chanson, on s'en fout qu'il y parle d'un garçon, on est en 2010 hein...
y a rien de choquant là-dedans, "tapette" c'est vraiment une notion de gros beauf aculturé, donc apprend la tolérance avant de dire des choses absurdes.
à l'évidence la chanson ne fait pas référence à l'homosexualité, mais même si c'était le cas, et alors ? ça rend la chanson moins belle peut-être ?
faut vivre dans ton époque hein.

The phrase "he shot me down" is an IMAGE. The only one, who got "killed" in this song is love.
Nancy Sinatra's english version of BANG-BANG is one of my favourites- but Elies voice outguns hers definitly. Amazing performance!
