Should You Bring a Laptop With You On Vacation?

First, I would have to side with the parents on this one. While you're in Europe, enjoy the sights and sounds of a new continent. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for most people, and a chance to really enjoy something away from the keyboard. Trust me, the regret of spending your time in Europe glued to a keyboard and monitor instead of taking in what that amazing part of the world has to offer will stick with you for a very long time.

I don't brink my computer and if my boyfriend does what he did on our last cruise, stare at his damn iPhone the whole time, that little jewel will be getting tossed right in the ocean (sorry but when I pay $5000+ for a vacation, put the stupid phone AWAY!)

I don't take my Laptop with me when I travel. If anything my iPad, just because I tend to take a lot of pictures, so I use the camera connection kit to import my photos just to have a backup.

No. Why should you need it? You should be busy doing other things rather than sitting looking at a screen :/

The only reason I would bring a laptop with me to Europe would be a catalog RAW image files that I have taken of the various sites at the end of each day.
