If something like this happens again... they should call the 141 Task force!!!

@dknights411 it is strange the FAA walks a very fine line...they are supposed to promote air travel yet they also our supposed to be responsible for safety..and sometimes those conflict with each other

If you travel frequently like myself , you will be surprised that some flights only carry few passengers. I've been in flights where there are only a small group of 30 people or less. I am not an aircraft owner. they only know what their profit margin is. Take in consideration that these where short flights with connecting points.

@aviationwingnut Statistically, Tuesdays are the least busy travel days, and it was early in the morning.

@dknights411 Thanks for the thoughts and the feedback. I appreciate it. Likewise, I've also flown on some pretty lightly loaded flights back in the 80's and 90's. However, I just found it kinda odd that all four of those large planes were so lightly loaded - especially, for a cross country flight and on a working business day in the beginning of the week. You're also very right about the post 911 thing. Nowadays, you stand a much better chance of getting bumped or asked to take a voucher.
Wow...That was for only a few weeks the world was working together..Bush did a good job a leading during this crisis..There was no panic, because of leadership styles..Today the CT ppl try and create panic and also failing.
