The New Zealand Story Orchestra

An orchestra version of the 'The New Zealand Story' theme. This is one of my favourite pieces of all time and I've never been able to capture the feel of it properly before now. This is my best attempt yet. It's far from perfect but it's getting there. I think the piece really needs a close-mic setup as it's so bouncy and quick that any kind of reverb drowns it. Hopefully I achieved that sound with this.

It took around an hour from start to finish (lots of looping and quick edits). I'll attack this again in the future, I'm sure. This is actually the 5th time I've attempted this piece and the first time I've been happy with the results - thank you CineBrass!

@DFMike73 Yes sorta, if i remember hearing correctly its if you die in a certain place where you would get stuck if you ran out of lives, instead of getting the game over you would instead go to the heaven level and then complete it and use a continue and it will send you to the beginning of the level instead.

a friend of mine directed me toward your Nyan Cat vid, enjoyed it! But, now that I've seen you've done a piece from this game...well, subscribed ;) It's nice to know this game isn't completely forgotten.
