Barack Obama is co-sponser to the most draconian pieces of legislation ever put forth in the American debate over abortion, repealing laws passed by voters and state legislatures.
In addressing the Planned Parenthood Action Fund (July 17, 2007), he asserted that "the first thing I'd do as president is, is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. "

Senator Barbara Boxer, co-sponser of the bill, has said: "The Freedom of Choice Act supercedes any law, regulation or local ordinance that impinges on a woman's right to choose. That means a poor woman cannot be denied the use of Medicaid if she chooses to have an abortion." In other words, state governments and the federal government would be mandated to fund abortion with taxpayer money.

By its actual language, the bill would invalidate any "statute, ordinance, regulation, administrative order, decision, policy, practice, or other action" of any federal, state, or local government or governmental official (or any person acting under government authority) that would "deny or interfere with" a woman's right to abortion.

Get off the word "choice," which is a pretty word for something ugly in this case, and think about what you're for allowing a woman to CHOOSE. You are for allowing a woman to choose to kill her own child in a gruesome way. Abortion is murder that spares the doctor/mother from hearing or seeing the child scream/cry/writhe in pain because all of that is muffled/hidden in the womb. If you can't kill a 2 year old w/o it being a crime, you can't kill a developing child w/o it being a crime.

A fundamental misunderstanding of the abortion issue lies in the way people often refer to anti-choice and pro-choice as "two sides." In fact, the anti-choice are in favour of forced motherhood, and the opposite of that is forced abortion. Pro-choice opposes both of these extremist positions.

Jesus Christ did not advocate forced charity or communism. This is what Barack Obama is rallying for.

The more handouts taxpayers are forced to pay = the lazier people are going to become. Also health care costs would be drastically reduced if there was no government regulations.

Keep the power. Dont give it away.

And if everyone gets a tax cut it is not a lie to say that the wealthiest 5% get a tax cut. the other 95% got one too.
